Bank Talk is a talking newspaper established for the blind and visually impaired in 1989, by a group of dedicated volunteers. The services that we provide in the local area are; local paper on audio CD, lending Library of audio books on CD and a bi-monthly magazine. Bankie Talk also have a youth project. This is done in partnership with secondary schools from the West Dumbartonshire area. Currently the project has 140 pupils involved in the production of the audio youth magazine. This magazine is aimed at young people who are unable to access the written word.
Bank Talk is currently in the process of expanding the services that we provide. New ventures will involve audio/video online content such as podcasting and social media and an online magazine.
